1. Go to the register page
2. Fill out the tiny form
3. Add in your services
4. Download the application to your phone (via SMS or go to http://m.xumii.com/get)
5. Find the application on your phone (usually in an folder/tab called Applications)
6. Run it, log in and start Xumiiing

To chat over instant messenger (IM), update and view statuses on your social networks or to share media from Flickr, YouTube, Imeem and others you need to connect them to Xumii.

1. Register (you can add them during registration too)
2. Login to Xumii on the top right of the home page
3. Click “Add New Services” on the upper right of the page
4. Click the service (network, IM) you want to add
5. Follow the instructions (they are all a little bit different)
6. Go back into your application on your phone and it will be automagically added

Xumii is more fun with friends! Here’s how to add them.

1. Sign in to your account page at Xumii
2. Find the Invite a Friend section just under your details on the left
3. Add your friends' names and emails and click 'Invite'
4. They’ll get a message to join Xumii
5. They'll be able to form groups with you, post on your wall, and you can check up on their status updates on all their social networks — cool

It’s easy to import friends from your phone’s address book.

1. Open Xumii
2. Select Find Friends in the main menu
3. Select Options at the bottom left, then select Import from Phone
4. The imported friends will appear in your Xumii friend list with a small icon of a phone next to their name

Note: Access to Contacts is restricted by some carriers to applications that they’ve explicitly approved so if you get the message "Cannot sync contacts without access" or similiar, then you cannot import contacts from your phone.

1. Register, download and install Xumii
2. Add the services/networks you want to use
3. Open it on your phone
4. Click Find Friends
5. Find the friend you want to chat
6. Hit your main selection key
7. Select Chat
8. Start typing
9. Hit send

You can update your status on your favorite social networks (MySpace, Facebook, and IMs) when you’re on the move.

1. Register, download and install Xumii
2. Add the social network of your choice by signing into your account on the Xumii website

Setting the status on all your social networks at once:

1. Open Xumii on your phone
2. In the main menu of your phone, click on Option
3. Select Set my status
4. Enter your status, then select the Apply

Setting Status on only one particular social network:

If you only want to change your status on MySpace but not on Google, you can be selective!
1. Open Xumii on your phone
2. Select Options in the main menu
3. Select Me
4. Select which of your identities on which social network you want to change
5. Select Options
6. Click on Set my status
7. Type in what your status is
8. Select Apply

Voila! Your status is now changed for that social network.

Setting your status as unavailable:

1. Open Xumii on your phone
2. Select Options in the main menu
3. Select Me
4. Select Set unavailable

You can check up on what’s going on with your friends by reading their status updates on all your social networks. No need to log repeatedly into GoogleTalk, AIM and FaceBook to get the lowdown on what’s going on.

1. Open Xumii on your phone and log in
2. Select Check Updates
3. Navigate to updates up top. Now you can see all of your friends updates on Facebook, Google, AIM and a host of other social networks!

You can give gifts to that special someone on Xumii while you’re chatting.

1. From the main menu of Xumii choose Friends Chat
2. Select your available contact
3. In the menu select Chat
4. While you’re talking with your friend, you’ll want to give them a gift
5. Click on Options, then Send gift
6. Select your gift from the list
7. You have the option of sending it or previewing it first.
8. If you've selected send gift, write a message to accompany your gift in the Enter Message and select Apply to send your friend their gift!
9. If you've selected preview, select Options, the forward
10. Select whether you want to send it to Friends, Groups or post it Walls
11. Select which friends/groups you want to send or post the gift
12. Select Ok, enter your message, then select Apply to send your friends their gift!

If your friend has a Xumii account, you can post gifts and leave messages for them on there Xumii wall whether they’re online or not

1. From the main menu of Xumii select Friends Chat
2. Select the Xumii tab, then select your Xumii friend
3. Select wall from the pop-up menu
4. When viewing their wall, click Options
5. Select Post gift
6. Select the gift you want to give your friend, then in the pop up menu select send gift
7. You can add a the personal message if you wish, then select Apply
8. Your gift will now be posted on their wall for everyone to see!

1. Open up Xumii
2. Select Share Media
3. Scroll left or right to choose a social network, such as Flickr or Facebook
4. Select an album, then the media you want to send
5. Select Options
6. Click on Share
7. In the Forward Attachment menu you can choose whether you want to send to a Friend, a Group, or post the media on a Wall
8. Now your friend will be able to see your photo or video!

You can check out the hottest youtube videos from your phone no matter where you are. Here’s how:

1. Open Xumii on your mobile phone and in the main menu select Share Media
2. Select the youtube tab
3. Select the appropriate youtube category, then choose between Top Rated, Most Viewed and Featured
4. Select the video and then in the pop-up menu select Play video

Your Mobile Wall is a cool place where you or your friends can leave messages, photographs or videos. Even when you aren’t online, your friends can check up on you. You can also view your friends’ walls as well!

Want to check out your Wall?
1. Go to the main menu of Xumii
2. Select View Wall
3. Scroll up and down your wall to read messages or view media

Write on your Wall
1. Click on View Wall in Xumii
2. Select Options and then Post text

Post a photo on your wall
1. Click on View Wall in Xumii
2. Select Options and then Post media
3. Select an album, then choose a photo
4. Edit your message then select Apply

1. In the main menu of Xumii select Group Chat
2. Select Others
3. Select my own
4. Click on Options and then Create Group
5. Enter a name for your Group then click Apply
6. Your Add Member page will list all of your Xumii contacts (at the moment only Xumii members can join groups)
7. Select all of your friends who you want to be in the group and then select OK

1. Open up Xumii on your phone and log in
2. Select Check Updates
3. Select News
4. Check out all the Gossip, Science and Tech news from all your favorite sources!

There’s a Xumii Facebook Application. Once you install it you’ll be able to view your Xumii mobile wall on your Facebook profile. Your friends will also be able to add photos, give gifts and write text as well.

1. Log into your Facebook Account
2. On the bottom left, click Applications and then Find More
3. Do an application search for Xumii
4. The search result should return Xumii Mobile
5. Click on Xumii Mobile, then the Go to Application button
6. Click Allow on the Allow Access? page
7. Enter your mobile number on the Xumii app first screen
8. If you already have a Xumii account, enter Xumii PIN and then click Allow Offline Access to link Xumii and Facebook
9. If you don't have a Xumii account, just fill the required information and you can create a Xumii account
10. When you're done adding the Xumii Facebook Application, click on the Settings tab and click on Add to profile to install your Xumii wall on your Facebook profile page where you can stay connected with your friends
