Xumii currently supports these communities:

• For Instant Messaging (IM) we currently support AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), Yahoo! Messenger, Microsoft Live and GoogleTalk.
• For Facebook we allow you to update and receive status messages from all your friends as well as display and upload photos.
• For Flickr we allow you to display and upload pictures right on your phone.
• For imeem and MySpace we allow you to connect with your friends as access and share your photos.

Adding a social network from within the app

• Tap "Me" in the main navigation menu
• Select "Add another community" under the Setup section
• Select the community and follow the instructions

Adding aSocial Network from your PC

• Sign in with your Xumii account and select a community to add under "Add a New Service"

Removing a social network from within the app

• Tap "Me" in the main navigation menu
• Choose the identity from the community that you want to remove
• Choose "Remove Community"

• Select the community you wish to remove under "Edit Your Services"
• Click "Remove"

• Click "Change Avatar" under Xumii Profile

If you have an avatar on another network such as Google, this avatar will appear when you're chatting with friends on that network.

To retrieve your password:

• Go to /consumers/forgotpin
• Enter your mobile number and we will send the password to your registered e-mail address

Xumii isn't just for chatting! Think of us as your mobile social phonebook. You'll save a lot of time staying in Xumii instead of jumping around to 8 or 9 different iPhone apps

• Read the latest news and friend status updates in the Xumii news feed under "Updates"
• Share photographs while chatting. These can come from on-the-spot snap shots, the photo roll on your iPhone or any of your social network photo albums. You can also upload iPhone photos to your photo albums directly from Xumii!
• Give special gifts to celebrate those special occassions

Setting yourself as Unavailable/Available/Away

• Tap "Me" in the main navigation menu
• Touch the first row under "Global"

Updating your Status

• Tap "Me" in the main navigation menu
• Under "Global" you'll find your status message in the second row underneath the Available/Unavailable/Away row. Touch to edit your status.
• Write your status, then tap "OK." This will change your status on all your communities

There are several ways to invite your friends to Xumii:
Inviting Friends from within the Xumii app

• Tap "Friends" and select your friends' profile.
• Choose ""Invite to Xumii" under Actions. Confirm the invite by tapping "OK"

• Sign in with your Xumii account
• Scroll down to the bottom left hand corner of the account page
• Type in your buddies' names and emails

Sharing photos is easy with Xumii, and you have several touchpoints from which to share photos with friend.
Sharing a Photo from the Main Menu

• Tap on the "Share" icon in the main navigation bar.
• You can choose a photo from your Camera Roll, one of your social networking photo albums or take a quick snapshot with your iPhone
• Enter a caption, then select "Share"
• Choose the friend with whom you want to share your photo

Sharing a Photo in a Chat Session

• While chatting with a buddy, tap on "Attach"
• Select the photo either as a snapshot or from your camera roll
• Enter a caption and then select "Share"

Sharing a Photo with a Friend

• Tap "Friends" in the main navigation bar and select a buddy
• Under "Actions" select "Share an item"
• Select the photo, enter a caption, then tap "Share"
